Tourism to Yucatan is growing rapidly and the beaches around Progreso have become a major attraction. There are no hotels, big or small right on the beach in Progreso... indeed upmarket hotel accommodation for the short stay tourist, or visitor is almost non-existent along this part of the gulf coast.

Building costs in this part of Mexico are substantially lower than in the U.S. or Canada, but will take a little longer. Our target is to be open for business by October 1, 2009.
